Kale chips
Kale chips are an excellent healthy snack choice they contain less than ten grams of carbs, 58 calories and 2.5 grams of protein per serving. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. line your pan or cookie sheet with tin foil or parchment paper, cut off as much kale as you want to eat and cut them up into bite size.
Wash the kale drizzle it with avocado oil or olive oil and you can add some seasoning if you want. Bake for 10-15 minutes or just until the edges turn brown.
Nuts
Nuts are a great source of protein and healthy fats like omega 3’s. they contain a variety of other healthy nutrients also they the make a great snack as long as you don’t binge eat them. The healthiest nuts are walnuts, pecans, macadamia, almonds, and pistachios.
Celery and peanut butter
This is a great snack that contains a good amount of protein from the peanut butter and vitamins A,K, and C from the celery. All you have to do is get some celery and spread a medium amount of natural peanut butter on top.
All natural multi grain waffle
All natural multi grain waffles are healthy and tasty snack just make sure to use sugar free syrup.
Cereal
Special k’s red berries cereal is a great heart healthy cereal that only has 110 calories. You could also eat some Wheaties they are only 100 calories and go great with some added fruit on top like blueberries, bananas, or strawberries.
All natural or whole wheat popcorn
Popcorn can be a healthy snack as long as you’re not glazing it with butter, it contains few calories and can be very fulfilling. Just go to your nearby super market and look for some all natural or whole wheat popcorn.
Apple slices with almond butter
Just dip some apple slices into some almond butter it is a delicious and healthy snack, just remember not to dip to much but just enough for you to get some good flavor.
Oatmeal
Oatmeal can be a very healthy and filling snack to eat. Make sure you are eating the natural kind of oatmeal and not the processed kind with a lot of added sugars. You can fix small bowl of oatmeal and add some berries on top.
Edamame
Edamame are basically premature soy beans in a pod. They contain 9 grams of fiber and roughly around 120 calories per serving, you should be able to find them in your local supermarket in the vegetable section.
Multigrain cracker
These crackers are a healthy snack you can pick up at the store if you are craving something sweet.
Greek yogurt
Yogurt in general is a very healthy snack choice but Greek yogurt is probably the best kind you can get, it has less sugar and more protein, so it is healthier for you and more fulfilling then other yogurt .
Hard boiled eggs
These are a really easy to make snack, you can add some pepper or other seasoning to them to spice it up.
